The ceremony of laying the cornerstone and the start of construction of the new Mabuchi Motor factory
The need to start production in Europe resulted from the growing demand for small DC motors among customers located in Europe.
Although various locations in Europe were taken into account, Poland was ultimately chosen as the most stable country in the region with the greatest development prospects. In November 2016, the decision to establish a plant in the Bochnia Economic Activity Zone was officially announced.
The laying of the cornerstone took place on July 12, 2017. The ceremony was attended by Hiroo Okoshi, president of Mabuchi Motor, Wojciech Przybylski, president of the Krakow Technology Park, the authorities of Bochnia and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
Hiroo Okoshi emphasized that the factory built in Poland will be a very important production center for the company, responding to the growing demand from the European industry, as well as to the expectations of existing customers on our continent.
